ADAPTIVE SKIING

Welcome to LAWSC’s home on the web. Although it's kind of nice here, we much prefer our real home, Lake Aldred.  Lake Aldred is an 8-mile stretch of the Susquehanna River approximately 20 miles north of the Pennsylvania-Maryland border. It was created in 1910 by the construction of Holtwood Dam.

This small but beautiful body of water is our members' playground. We are a family oriented organization. We span many skill levels and enjoy all aspects of our sport including slalom skiing, wakeboarding, barefooting, jumping, and of course, safe boating.

While hanging on to the end of a rope is our primary obsession, we often take time to relax and enjoy each other's company with afternoon socials and other fun activities.

Thanks for stopping by - we hope you enjoy your visit.
